I have had years of experience using my voice for many projects; from competing in oral interpretation contests as a teenager, to singing our National Anthem to large crowds as an adult. I am astutely aware of what businesses are looking for when it comes to corporate narration and lengthy compliance reads, as well helping them with commercials, e-trainings & explainer videos. I have also lent my voice to businesses for their on-hold messaging and their IVR’s. I have been a keynote speaker for conferences, been a live sports commentator for pool matches and a live event announcer. I also enjoy audiobooks!

I am exclusively represented by The Peak Agency in the Des Moines, Iowa and surrounding areas. They are the top talent agency in the region, representing actors, voice actors, and models. Being on their roster has also allowed me to acquire on-camera acting gigs as well from TV commercials, to corporate training videos, and non speaking extra roles.

I am also represented by InnoVision Talent Agency out of the San Diego, CA area, giving me west coast representation.

I have a degree in Horticulture, Turf & Greenhouse Management, & Landscape Design. Twenty five + years in customer service, sales, marketing and management are what gave me the drive, motivation, and confidence to open my own VO business: TAK1 Productions. I am ready to get to work for whatever project you had in mind!

In my free time I love to garden, sing, play my violin, and competitively play pool & travel with my husband! I am proud of my volunteer work, too. I was previously voted in as Director of Communications for a local cancer fundraiser group, Sioux Falls Pink Pool League. I held this position for a few years and helped grow the organization and its fundraising efforts. I have also enjoyed my volunteering time for Habitat For Humanity and the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. I am an animal lover and will also continue to be an advocate, foster, volunteer and donator to animal rescues and shelters.

My voice has been described as grounded, warm, smooth, deep, confident, fun, articulate, outgoing, experienced, personable; a friendly expert. My coaches and mentors say that I listen well, thrive on constructive criticism and implement feedback immediately.
